Lecturing position in Statistics at the University of South Australia.

The following information is contained within a newspaper advertisement in The
Australian on 13 December 2000.

A continuing Level A/B position in Statistics is offered within the School of
Mathematics at the University of South Australia. This appointment represents
an opportunity to join a group where the prospects for growth and chances for
career advancement are both excellent.

The successful applicant will contribute to the undergraduate Statistics
teaching program, including service teaching; to research and statistical
consulting activities; and to curriculum and program development.

Essential criteria include a Ph D in Statistics; demonstrated potential or an
established record in both teaching and research; the ability to carry out
statistical consulting; and the capacity to show initiative and to accept
responsibility.
