MEMORIAL MEETING for Professor Henry Daniels FRS. As previously announced, there will be a memorial meeting in Cambridge to commemorate the life and work of Henry Daniels, on the afternoon of Thursday September 28, 2000. This will take the form of talks by Sir David Cox, Professor Peter Whittle and Professor Tony Lawrance in the Statistical Laboratory, Pavilion D, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Road, Cambridge CB3 0WB. (Note that we are no longer in Mill Lane.) Programme Meeting Room 12 2pm Welcome by the Director of the Statistical Laboratory, Professor G.Grimmett 2.10 pm Peter Whittle 2.40 pm David Cox 3.10 pm Tony Lawrance 3.45 pm tea, with opportunity to view the new Statistical Laboratory and its collection of old photographs 5pm Recital in Kettle's Yard, followed by drinks.\newline (The recital is in Kettle's Yard, Castle Street, not Newnham College, as previously announced.) So far we have a list of about 40 names. Note: access to the Centre for the Mathematical Sciences is from Clarkson Road, which is off Grange Road, quite close to Churchill College. You are advised that parking at or near the Centre for the Mathematical Sciences is extremely limited, but we are about 15 mins' walk from the Park and Ride carpark on Madingley Road (on the lefthandside as you approach the city).
