Hello, I wonder if other list members can help me. I'm trying to find out
what policies other institutions have on the announcement of module (course)
and award (qualification) results. I'm keen to find out if results are
generally first announced to the world (eg pass lists put up on notice
boards) or privately to the student (eg by letter).

To help me get a feel for which method is most common, it would be very
helpful if you could you answer the following questions for both individual
modules and overall awards.

1. Are results announced publicly, or to students individually?
2. If results are announced publicly, are students informed before the
public announcement?
3. Do any institutions put results up on their web pages?
4. If so, are these accessible to just the student concerned or are they
public?
5. What is the name of your institution?

If you e-mail me your responses, I'll summarise them and post to
admin-student.

Many thanks in advance for your help!
