I too was under the impression that SLC were going to notify us that our HEI course database submission is correct. Step 5 of Section 1 of the HEI data capture user guide states: ".......If there are errors SLC contact the HEI to advise that corrections need to be made. OTHERWISE, A CONFIRMATION LETTER IS SENT". Salford has not received any such letter and furthermore there appear to have been no clear instructions as to how to add further (late) data to the database for the coming session. Having met the SLC deadlines for submission after a great deal of hard work it would be nice to know whether everything is OK especially as there have been so many accusations floating around that certain HEIs were holding up the process. Has anyone received confirmation from SLC that their submission is OK? These are apparently an integral part of the form. I know our term dates on the Courses database are correct , and do not see why I have to impart this information again. I understand the necessity to do so for existing award holders, but not those funded under the new scheme. Can anyone enlighten me please? Also did anyone receive confirmation of successful receipt of the Courses database from the SLC, I was under the impression we were supposed to keep it to hand until informed that all was well, but I have heard nothing despite an e-mail reminder. many thanks Anne Admin.Assistant-Records & Loans Academic Registry University of Brighton [log in to unmask] %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
