SENIOR PLANNING OFFICER Job Ref JS1665
Applications are invited for this new post, to develop a strategic
planning unit in the University. Based in the Vice-Chancellor’s office,
you will contribute to a strategic overview of the University’s initiatives
and be responsible for the preparation of management information from
internal and external data to support budget setting and portfolio review
activity. Working closely with faculties and other departments you will
also be responsible for data submission checks for student returns and
student modelling projections.
With strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication
abilities both in report writing and presentation, you should be highly
numerate. A reasonable level of IT and database query tool skills is
essential. You should possess financial management awareness and a
background in the HE sector.
