John Walter Assistant Registrar - Planning Registry and Planning Services Academic Related Grade 2/3: £19,482 to £30,967 per annum We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Registrar to take a leading role in the development and delivery of the University's academic planning activities. Working closely with the Head of Registry and Planning Services and senior colleagues in other departments, you will provide a range of statistical information and performance indicators to support decision-making by the Senior Management Team and in the Schools. You will provide information and advice in support of the University's annual planning and resource allocation and review processes. You will also be responsible for the preparation of returns to governmental agencies (eg HEFCE and HESA) which concern student numbers and associated funding. We are looking for a graduate with several years' administrative experience preferably in the planning function of a large organisation and/or in Higher Education, and a good working knowledge of management information systems, the preparation and presentation of statistical reports, and committee work. An excellent organiser with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, you should be able to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
