There are occasionally lease clauses which state that horse levels should be driven 4ft wide by 6ft 6inches high above the rails, but i think that this is fairly common throughout the country with some minor variations. There are no stipulated sizes for sub levels etc and they are generally driven just big enough to work in, i.e. big enough to push a small waggon when bent over it. How often the stipulated size of level was adherered to is difficult to say as they all tend to go up and down, and in and out a bit.
