Winning entries should describe how the use of evidence significantly enhanced patient care. But hurry! The closing date is the end of August. The incentive for them is another L2,500! Winners of the first two awards were a midwife who successfully introduced a new, much less painful, method of perineal repair and a clinical audit facilitator who changed hospital practice over thromoembolism prophylaxis.
