ESRC COLLABORATIVE PHD STUDENTSHIP WITH THE ENGINEERING EMPLOYERS'
FEDERATION: THE ROLE OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR IN URBAN AND REGIONAL
DEVELOPMENT AND GOVERNANCE

The Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS),
University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and the Engineering Employers'
Federation (EEF Northern Association) have an ESRC collaborative PhD
studentship award to offer to a suitably qualified candidate.

The project is concerned with the role of the private sector in urban
and regional development and governance.

The normal ESRC maintenance grant will be supplemented by a further
annual award of stlg1,375 from the collaborating institution.
