John,
I have stored copies of issues 5,6 and 7 of SMR News with mailbase. You can
either retrieve by:
1) To get a list of all the files stored with mailbase send the following
message 'index SMRForum' to [log in to unmask] Mailbase will then
send you a list of all the files (and the filenames).
2) To retrieve a text file send the message 'get SMRForum filename' (select
the correct filename from the list).
3) To retrieve a binary file send the message 'get mime SMRForum filename'.
The back issues of SMR News are all stored as binary files.
Let me know if you have any problems retrieving them,
Kate

Kate,
Could you please let me see a copy of a previous issue so I can see
what it's like?
We have recently implemented hyperlinks within our SMR to allow
users to call up reports, surveys, etc from the database. It seems to be a
good way of accessing the 'grey literature' that development-led archaeology
produces. Would anyone be interested in this or does everyone in the south
do this now?
