A couple of administrative points about the german-studies list:
a) I am assured that the Mailbase computers are Y2K compliant, which
means:
> It is envisaged that Mailbase will be operating as per normal over
> the Xmas / New Year period.
b) Mailbase recently introduced an 'Acceptable Use Policy' addressing
issues such as bulk e-mail ('spamming'), copyright and security:
http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/docs/aup.html
If you send a message to the german-studies list (or any other
Mailbase list) you are now deemed to be accepting its conditions. If
you cannot access the Web version and would like to receive a copy by
e-mail, please contact the Mailbase helpline at the following
address: <[log in to unmask]>.
