EMAC2000 will consist of plenary sessions by invited speakers and parallel
sessions of contributed papers. Books, software and hardware supporting
teaching and research in the mathematical and engineering disciplines may
be on display. The invited speakers list will include prominent
International and Australian experts.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Contributions are sought from any area of Engineering Mathematics,
and especially those areas which coincide with the major topics of
the conference.
Prospective authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (between 1
and 2 pages in length) by email to [log in to unmask]
The abstract should include: Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), email
address(es), Presenter and an Indication of the Presentation Mode - that
is talk, or poster - and the Topic Area to be considered. They should have
a clear and precise title and cover the aims, content and conclusions of
the paper. Abstracts will be refereed and, for those papers which are
accepted for presentation, full papers will be solicited from the authors
for refereeing and inclusion in the proceedings. Further information for
authors will be forwarded with the notification of acceptance. Authors of
accepted papers will be expected to sign a copyright release form. All
participants will receive a copy of the refereed conference proceedings.
Abstracts of contributed papers should be prepared using the LaTeXe
template available from the conference web site
http://www.ma.rmit.edu.au/emac/emac2000.html. Intending delegates who do
not have access to the web site but who do have access to email facilities
should email the Conference Secretary to obtain a template. Authors who
cannot submit abstracts using LaTeXe should contact the Conference
Secretary directly. Abstracts should be emailed to [log in to unmask] by
the due date.
Submissions must arrive by February 10 2000. Notifications of
acceptance will be sent by March 10 2000, and final versions are due May
10, 2000.
