A research bursary is available for work within the School of Computing at Leeds
Metropolitan University on the design, implementation and evaluation of virtual
learning environments for learners with autism. The successful candidate will be
expected to register for PhD. The amount of the bursary is > £9205 per year for
three years, but out of this the student will be responsible for paying the
tuition fees of £2675 (UK/EU) or £6630 (overseas) per year.
You will need a first degree in computing or a related discipline.
Alternatively, a combination of a degree in psychology or education together
with computer skills may be suitable.
