Many tears ago I worked for the ambulance authority then acting as 'advisors'
to the series. They film unit were then using the local Transit ambulances
and taking advice from the ambulance training staff. Then came controversial
situations in which the need for drama and 'good TV' over rode the advisors
who were trying to keep things factual with regard to treatment. The result
was that the film company changed advisors! Addicts out there will have
noticed a sudden change to Renault ambulances and a different control.
