You'ld have a hard time with that proposition. All things turn on how we
understand the words "capitalism" and "nationalism" and "industrial
revolution", but if we take the first as the use of accumulated capital in
ways described by Marx, the second to be the pervasive sense of national
identify, and the last as the technical development and use of large scale
tools, the Industrial Revolution gathered steam in the late Eighteenth
Century and both Capitalism and Nationalism were Restoration phenomena.
