C&T's on-line Theatre-in-Education project exploring young
people's attitudes to CCTV is now available on the web!
+verb has been a two year project working with young people in
formal and informal education with the aim of creating a new word
through drama: cambat.
At the heart of the project is a fake CCTV company website:
ADV Security. However, to find out what cambat means and to
be part of the drama go to www.candt.uk.com. The site includes
drama stimuli, video and audio sound files using Real Media and
notes on how to use the site for practical drama.
The fake ADV site can be found at www.adv-security.co.uk
+verb the TIE programme is currently touring to schools
throughout the West Midlands.
(The following is an e-mail I received today from a 13 year old who
had just been part of the live theatre project in his school. We
welcome your feedback on the site too!)
Best wishes
Paul
