I am interested in getting a feel for how much we use email and the internet
in our working lives and wondered if you would take the time to let me know
your perception of the situation.
If you are a qualified physiotherapist, I would be interested in knowing:
Do you have access to the internet/ external email from work or do you have
to access it from home (if you access it from work, do you work in the NHS)?
If you work in the NHS and provide physiotherapy students with clinical
placements, do you know if they have access to the internet/ external email
in your trust?
If you have work access to email and take students, do you communicate with
the student's course leader/university by email
If you are a physiotherapy educator I would be interested in knowing:
Do you have desk top access to email and the internet at work (or do you use
a shared computer)?
Is it possible to communicate with your students by email ?
Do you communicate with your students by email in the university
Do you have an intranet or other such device that allows you to place your
teaching handouts etc in a folder to which all students have electronic
access?
Does your physiotherapy course communicate with clinical placements by
email?
If you are a student physiotherapist I would be interested in knowing:
Do you have your own computer?
If you have your own computer do you have access through it to the internet
and email?
Do you have access to computers with internet and email facilities in the
University?
Do you use a computer to communicate with your academic staff?
If you have been on clinical placement, did you use a computer to
communicate with clinical staff?
Many thanks to those of you who reply
