I have never thought of such an area before, but I suppose handling and
moving the dead is not that much different from handling and moving
unconcious people, once the rigor mortis has worn off. Perhaps you could
look for research or literature in that area.
I mainly look for research in Entrez Medline and Pedro. Both are available
at the MAPS website http://www.mapswebsite.cjb.net
For Medline go to the Resource section and look under General --> Articles
For Pedro go to the Links section, and find the APA link on the second page.
Pedro is part of the APA site.

Subject: Moving and handling the deceased
Hi,
I am an occupational health physio working with a large funeral company. I
am looking for any research papers published on moving and handling the
deceased ( world wide). I have searched the web but can find nothing. I
realise this is not prime research material but it still has to be done
safely and I would like to add to my current knowledge.
thank you for your help in advance
