I think Peter is exactly right on both counts and it shouldn't be
difficult to show that the postgraduate work is more advanced. For
example, we run certain optional courses which both finalists and
postgrads can take, but we already have to show (eg, for ESR) that
the two groups achieve different learning outcomes. Does anyone
else do this?
