Dear list members,
I am looking for data and literature citations to document several
phenomenon that are often cited as cost drivers in the health sector.
Specifically, I would be grateful for evidence of:
1. I am looking for evidence in the literature of evidence, in the U.S.
or Europe, of the relative distribution of spending between the elderly
and non-elderly--typically cited that the elderly spend 3 to 4 times the
spending of the non-elderly.
2. I am also looking for the relative distribution of spending on
chronic vs non-chronic diseases in Latin America, the U.S. and Europe.
3. Percentage of total expenditures on devices and technology en
Latinoamerica, the U.S. and Europe
Thank you in advance for your help. Please reply to either of the email
addresses below.
Sincerely,
James Cercone
