I undertook a study, and well recall being challenged on the point
that what I had interpreted as 'disability discrimination', by health
professionals when disabled people happened to be patients. the
argument was that ALL people, by virtue of their patient role, are
disempowered. There should be no claim that disabled people who
happen to become patients, are treated differently, and that
improvement is required for all.
Any agreement or otherwise?
Thanks in advance.
