I've never discussed this particular language with anyone, but it strikes me
as slightly "off," in that "Very Special Arts" slash
people-overcoming-their-"challenges" way. I would rather see, "a celebration
of persons with disabilities and their experiences, needs, accomplishments
and contributions," but that's probably a little too wordy. : )

P.S. "Very Special Arts" is a US program to promote art by PWDs, mostly
"special" people with cognitive impairments. Whenever I hear it I can't help
but think Very Special Farts.

problematic for anyone besides me? >>
