Absolutely! On BBC1 lunch-time news today there was an item about some
Prof. (from Warwick University I think) who has devised this (or at least a
similar) wonderful formula:
h = r (x, y, z) + e
It can apparently be used to quantify 'happiness' (or enjoyment?) in
financial terms. This guy's obviously destined for a Life Peerage too!
According to this formula I'm already about £100,000 in the red, and even
the error margin (e) can't account for that!!
Apologies Amaryllis, I couldn't resist it!
Best, Mairian
