Many of us have been reticent to attack the two hard issues of audience and
pedagogy because they are difficult and sensitive, subjective kinds of
distinctions that we are making. I think we should try to be brave and you
have taken a good first step. I'll see if I can get some local advice from
paractitioners on how they see the differences.
After all, a lot of what we are doing is for discovery by practitioners so
perhaps being 'theoretically' correct is not as important as being useful.
