based M-file performance profiler for optimising Matlab functions and a plot
editor for interactively modifying and annotating graphics. Find out about

Teaching Applications in Engineering, Mathematics and Physics using Matlab
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
A day workshop organised jointly by CTI Mathematics, CTI Engineering and
CTI Physics will be held on Monday 13 December at Queen Mary & Westfield
College, London.
This workshop will provide delegates with experience of numerical analysis
tools such as Matlab and areas they can address such as Finite Element
analysis and visualisation tools. The focus of the day will be strongly on
the teaching and learning context, with presentations by experienced
university lecturers in the fields of Engineering, Mathematics and
Physics. Plenty of opportunity will also be provided for hands-on
experience of the material discussed.
