DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY AND SOCIAL POLICY
LECTURER IN SOCIOLOGY/SOCIAL POLICY
This post is available for a fixed term of 3 years from February 1 2000
to 31 January 2003.
You will have been awarded a PhD and should have relevant research
and teaching experience and a proven ability to publish (at least four
publications for the Research Assessment Exercise). You should be
a specialist in the area of (i) disability and health (as first priority), or
(ii) ‘race’ and ethnicity (as second priority), or (iii) any other area
compatible with the Department’s research profile (as third priority).
Applications are particularly welcomed from suitably qualified
disabled people and from people from ethnic minorities whilst
affirming that any appointment will be made strictly on merit.
Salary: Lecturer A (£17,238 - £ 22,579 p.a.) or Lecturer B (£23,521 -
£30,065p.a.)
