Evidence-Based Practice - Electronic Distance Learning
Module (St Loye's School of Health Studies, affiliated to
the University of Exeter)
This credit-rated module (M level 5/6) aims to introduce
the principles, methods and applications of Evidence Based
Practice (EBP) to nurses, midwives, health visitors and the
professions allied to medicine. The course is accredited by
the University of Exeter's Continuing Professional
Development programme. The course has five units that are:
1. Introduction to Evidence Based Practice
2. Resources for EBP
3. Searching the evidence
4. Appraising the evidence
5. Applying evidence to practice.
The course units are accessed via the Internet.
