Hi!
To add my 2 cents:
Due to recent research done by Mark Laslett (of NZ) and Dr. Charles Aprill
(USA), I would suggest getting a copy of the August issue of the New Zealand
Journal of Physiotherapy, in which M. Laslett presents the research on
differential dx of the lumbar spine, pelvis (SIJ) and hip. It involves
physical exams/diagnosis of patients by Laslett and diagnositic injections/dx
by Aprill. Their results are interesting.
Excellent and evidence based. Book by Laslett on same issue is forthcoming
next year, hopefully. Laslett also gives a great course on the Mechanical
Diagnosis and Therapy of the low back, hip and pelvis...see his web page for
details (www.mdtseminars.com).
Hope this helps too...
