I don't have much experience in paediatrics, but I had a friend with a child
with the same problem. I thought that ballet lessons might help as they
would address the muscle inbalance problems and encourage external rotation.
This worked very well and had the added bonus that (unlike physio) her
daughter loved it and therefore was very motivated to continue. She has
continued the lessons over several years and it appears to have prevented
the return to medial rotation as she grows.
It's an idea anyway?
