Anke and Catherine,
I also support the sharing of answers on Eurotalk. But can I suggest that
we do this selectively, always bearing in mind the likely usefulness of the
answer to the wider audience.
It seems to me that the answers of most value are those which point to a
specific resource, advise on a search technique, suggest an approach to a
problem, and so on.
But if you're just confirming to someone that you can still access Europa,
it's probably not newsworthy enough to broadcast to the list(at least, I
hope it's not!).
So let's think about the content of our answers before automatically sending
them to the whole list. Eurotalk may be somewhat under-utilised at present,
but we don't want to over-egg the pudding.
Having said that, I'll now forward an answer that I recently sent to another
list, since the reactions I got suggest that the resource mentioned is not
well known.
Best regards,
Chris
