Some really interesting points have been raised about oppression,
identity and the social model.
Just a minor point, for me being
oppressed is also about being armed with resistance. I would suggest
then that much more is needed on understandings of resistance that
emerge as the consequence of social oppression.
The two are materially linked and essential to praxis-oriented
disability theory and politics.
