I defer to your greater knowledge of all things Singer, but merely make the
aside that in terms of the way he appears to have spiked the collective,
public, conciousness in the States, he wasn't a blip on the screen down
here. Sure he was influential in some circles, but didn't even glimpse the
public notoriety he has achieved through his Princeton appointment.
