Hi Maria,
I'm not working at this formally but the organisation I'm involved with
Women With Disabilities Australia, has been dabbling in this area for a
while. Think the women's group preparing to assimilate? integrate? women
with disabilities have to have an honestly achievable affirmative action
plan. I am sick of women's groups which stick us on some sort of 'aren't
you wonderful pedestal' but don't really include us in the action.

> I have been asked by a women's group in Montreal to write up a policy
proposal intended to create access for women with disabilities within
their organization. Has anyone on the list worked on anything similar ?

> To create check-list for access. (I have done this before.
> Present 5 year Plan of action that they can follow, based on principles
of feminism equality rights. Any other suggestions?
