*Very long*
----------------------
In the last months the DC qualifiers are collected and discussed in
the lists. Unfortunately there was no contribution from German
implementers and from German projects. Because of the preparations
for DC 7 we were not able to put these on the lists. But I think
there will be a lot of discussions about qualification of DC at the
workshop and in the lists after the workshop, too. So sorry for being
late, but I think it is not too late.
So I just list a few qualifiers from selected projects without any
comment (if I do that, this e-mail becomes very long... and there are
many German participants at DC 7, who can explain, why they are using
these qualifiers):

The following qualifiers and a lot of more you find in the MetaForm
Database of the Metadata Server ( http://www2.sub.uni-goettingen.de/
) of the SUB Goettingen. It was developed by Ralf Schimmer in the
German META-LIB project.

MALVINE (Manuscripts And Letters Via Integrated Networks in Europe,
http://www.malvine.org/ ) opens new and enhanced access to disparate
modern manuscript holdings, kept and catalogued in European
libraries, archives, documentation centres and museums. MALVINE will
provide a common multilingual user interface in a clear terminology
with the help of metadata. The project will involve databases in the
field of biographical documentation, publishing projects and related
sectors. Document delivery items will improve the options for remote
access and will contribute to the protection and conservation of the
precious original documents (please sent any comments to MALVINE to
