Tunde, I've been meaning to reply to your query for
ages - sorry, didn't get round to it. My organisation
- Summer institute of linguistics - has a programme
which may be of help to you. We use it for making
reading primers! part of the programme deals with
word frequency counts. Find www.sil.org through your
search engine. You may find the info under
'lingualinks'. The programme is called 'Primer'.
Sorry i can't give you more detailed info, I'm writing
from home and don't have it to hand.
Hope this helps a little and that you've had lots of
help from others.
