I can not relate to this comment about the instability of N4 on an NT
platform.
I regularly teach N4 to studnets across a wide range of ability levels and
I do this teaching on NT4.5. SinceI have started this teaching on N4 here
on this platformI have had 8 full classes (19 machines) andI have yet to
experience a single problem with instability with N4 on this configuration.
BTW, I use MS Word in the same classes to prepare documents, and then we
have a few problems of stability -- not many but they have occurred. But N4
just keeps on behaviing as one wants it to.
So, while denying Ann's experience, I sohuld like to also say that I have
found N4 VERY stable on an NT platform.
