Alyn Jones, formerly of Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh,
was last year's winner of the LIRG Undergraduate Prize.
Alyn's study, The Corporate Intranet, looked at the role that corporate
libraries play in providing and disseminating information using
Intranets. Based upon observation, interviews, and electronic
mail, his study concluded that corporate libraries were taking full advantage
of Intranets to deliver information and services to their host organisations.
