Sorry to pop in so early in this mailing list (I've just subscribed the day
before yesterday), just to mention that this kind of problem already exists in
a corporate environment : if a set of documents, or an entire site, is highly
confidential, then its mere existence is just as confidential. Hence, a search
device should not access it when called by unauthorized publics.
