The Employment Service is responsible for the national
network of Jobcentres, Disability Service Teams and
programmes to support jobseekers.
Applications are invited for an Occupational
Psychologist post.
The post-holder will provide consultancy to major change
projects with an Information Technology component.
This can include the implementation of systems for ES
employees and of Internet and other technologies for our
customers and partners. We combine strategic advice to
projects with hands-on contributions. The post-holder
will have opportunities to work in other areas of
organisational development and change and some flexibility
in this regard would be an advantage.
We are looking for a generally well equipped occupational
psychologist with a strong knowledge base and track
record in the facilitation of IT-related change.
Some travelling around Great Britain is required.
Salary: £18,700 to £23,140 depending on grade appointed.
Qualifications:
* A BPS approved honours degree in Psychology
(i.e. Graduate Basis for Registration)
* They should either be Chartered Occupational
Psychologists or willing to work towards becoming
chartered
* An MSc. in Occ. Psy would be an advantage but
is not essential
* At least 2 (4 for a Senior post) years of
relevant postgraduate experience
