In fairness I think BAEM have produced an excellant document edited by Mikes
McCabe and Lambert which has been available for many months now and which I
know many departments have been using to try and improve resources mot just
for the night itself but also the milemmium 'period'. It has also been
adopted by many Australian departments as a model for preparing for the event.
I agree that the 'period' is more likely to cause problems than the night
itself for many departments so if anyone has is aware of best practice
coping strategies please share them with the list and I will put them on the
BAEM website.

>Sorry to harp on but don't say you weren't warned.
>I would have expected a bit more urgency from BAEM, it's only a few weeks

>If I seem to remember the RLH was only hours away from collapse last year.
