LECTURESHIP IN SOCIAL POLICY
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to a
permanent post as Lecturer in Social Policy. Applications are
particularly welcome from those with expertise in the analysis of the
social policy implications of economic beliefs and behaviour;
criminology; comparative social policy, with particular reference to
East Asia. Candidates with expertise in other areas of social policy
will also be considered. The successful candidate will have completed
(and been awarded) a PhD, have a record of achievement in research and
the ability to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Social
Policy at the University of York has been judged to be TQA excellent and
has been rated ‘5' in successive RAE assessments.
The appointment is available from 1 January 2000 on either the Lecturer
Grade A (£17,238 - £22,579 pa) or Lecturer Grade B (£23,521 - £30,065
pa) scale.
