Now, fresh this week, even more of singer in the news. an article
*by* him in this sunday's ny times magazine mentions nothing directly
about disability, or infant viability and potential for happiness.
Instead, he exhorts all to *give* more of their income to aid those in
need - specifically foreign aid to the starving children around the
world. Does he think, and does the NY times think, this is a radical
idea? Individual giving? (Read: charity). So, without mentioning
disability, he addresses it. What a jerk.
And:
Department of most stupid euphemism of the week:
The blurb at the front of the article (not written by singer) states
that "...his argument that severely disabled infants shoulld, in some
cases, receive euthansasia."
Excuse me, but will these infants *receive* this... service, gift,
????, without the active participation of the euthenizer????????????
