For UK physiotherapists

The National Electronic Library for Health (NeLH):
In 1998 Information for Health, the Government's Information and Technology
Strategy for the NHS, announced the setting up of a National Electronic
Library for Health (NeLH). This five-year project aims to develop an
Internet-based, quality-assessed information source for clinicians and
patients providing quick and easy access to the best current knowledge. It
aims to help improve health and healthcare, clinical practice, and patient
choice.

For more information on the NeLH see Internet Web Site:

CHANGE OF VENUE AND PRICE REDUCTION
Dear Colleagues

The venue for the NeLH and Secondary Health Care Debate on September 9th has
changed. It will now be held at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Cale
Street, London SW3. The attendance charge has also now been reduced by £30.
Please make a note of this important meeting. Alternatively, would you be
kind enough to inform individuals whom you consider likely to take an active
part in this debate at the National Heart & Lung Institute in London . We
are anxious to obtain good representation from all potential users of the
National Electronic Library for Health from secondary healthcare. They
could be doctors, librarians, managers, nurses and PAMS. Any number can
apply but we can only guarantee one place from each trust.
The programme and application form follows and is also available on the BMiS
web site:
http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/mig/people/medicine/bmis/
