Dear Sundvallm
It is likely that the sympathetic distribution to the eye was affected and
this can be accessed anywhere along its chain. There is a large autonomic
ganglion at the C6 level. Students have often brought tears to my eyes when
an anterior cervical palpation is attempted for the first time. Hope this
helps Regards Kevin Reese PT UK.
