This group of historians led by academician A.T. Fomenko, who was the
first to question the conventional Scaliger chronology, has worked on the
project "New Chronology" for several years. This project takes a
non-traditional approach to history and questions the “official” chronology
and many widely recognized events. Why do some known historic facts not fit
together? Accepting no authorities and finding new sources, the authors
discover a whole new layer of history, which for various reasons has been
concealed by the Russian historical establishment, and make startling
conclusions. Introduction by A.T. Fomenko and bibliography of the project.

B.F. Sushkov, a critic, culturologist, and philosopher, repudiates the
widely accepted notion of monotheism as a step forward from Hellenistic
pagan religions. He thinks that separation of God and Nature was ultimately
fatal for mankind, and particularly for Russia, with its revolutionary
project of establishing a “socialist paradise”. Now the country has to
abandon this “medieval outlook” and together with the rest of the world
face true action which in this case means reverting back to “Slavic
pantheism” and “biological imperialism”. For the author religion is a
spiritual and moral synthesis of cosmic knowledge, and matter has a
spiritual quality. Includes name index.
