Soft Warehouse primarily did DERIVE and MuLisp
and supported both superbly. They obviously monitor this list and
their replies and comments are almost always helpful. Now, TI does a
lot more, and I'm concerned that tech support and product quality
will suffer. Also, what if TI decides in two years that SWH isn't
producing the right revenue return and decides to deep-six it?
I use EXP as a scientific word processor, and since Brooks-Cole
decided to no longer support it, it is effectively orphaned and new
versions for newer platforms won't be forthcoming. I hope this won't
happen with DERIVE, but I'm not sanguine.
