Can anyone give me any references to case reports of a nasopharyhgeal airway
entering the cranium through a BOS#, or studies of the incidence of intracranial
infection following nasopharyngeal use?
I have always used nasopharyngeal airways in head injured patients, but keep
on being told that I am wrong. I have been too arrogant to listen so far! Is there
any evidence / experience to the contrary out there?
