Does anyone have any knowledge about endometriosis causing headaches? I know
that tissue from the lining of the womb can be laid down embyologically
anywhere in the body: and I have a patient who has endometriosus - if that
spelling is correct - looks funny - and bleeds from her umbilicus every
month..........She also suffers from "atypical migraine" which has become so
entrenched that she has been unable to work for a year. She has daily severe
headaches which get very very bad particularly behind one eye when she has
her period.
I and several osteopathic and physio colleagues have checked her spine and
although she has one or two problems there is nothing that would precipitate
such headaches. She has had MRI, CT scans, x-rays, blood tests etc. She is
28. I'm really clutching at straws but would be grateful for your comments.
