Information and Training Officers (2 posts)
The ideal candidates will be self-motivated graduates, preferably
with an arts or humanities degree and some experience in IT advocacy
or training roles. They will be well organised and possess proven
writing, inter-personal and communication skills. Competence in the
Microsoft office range of software, together with experience of
network software (including email and basic HTML authoring) will be
essential. The desire to be part of a small, friendly, energetic
team working closely to tight deadlines and the flexibility to deal
with a variety of tasks are both essential. The jobs may be
particularly suitable for postgraduates from an Information
Management or Library Studies course.
Both posts are available for one year in the first instance.
Secondment arrangements will be considered and may be preferred.
Appointment to both posts will be made on the ALC Grade 2 salary
scale currently £21,049 - £26,613 per annum inclusive of £2,134 per
annum London Allowance.
