For a look at "The Geography of the New Economy"
<http://www.rri.wvu.edu/WebBook/Norton/contents.htm>
please visit WVU's Regional Research Institute
site. It's Chapter 1 of the RRI's web-based textbook in Regional
Science. The case for a new economy is made not in macro terms, but from
the standpoint of the digital revolution.
Another new site is The Elements of the New Economy,
<http://web.bryant.edu/~pnorton/neweconomy>
a portal to sites on that topic, posted by the New Economy Institute.
You are invited to monitor these same "elements" by subscribing to the
Institute's quarterly hardcopy journal, Economic Development Horizon
<http://web.bryant.edu/enatural/join.html> . It features journal
abstracts and book annotations on cities and regions in
the new economy.
Hope you don't receive this posting for than once--my apologies if you
do!
